Little Colorado Waldorf Play Stand

Our Waldorf® Play Stands have been enhancing children’s imagination for 30 years. They are the best selling Play Stands on the market and the only ones made out of solid knotty pine. In honor of their upcoming 30^th anniversary, we have launched the first product update in two decades. We now have a two-shelf version and four different pretend play accessories to match. Both the time proven one-shelf and new two-shelf versions are amazingly versatile for stimulating creative play – either at home or at school. Your child will love designing any of these “pretend” play spaces:

The one-shelf Play Stand can accommodate two of our pretend play accessories: the stove top and the sink with faucet.

The two-shelf Play Stand can accommodate all four accessories:

Play stands are generally sold and used in sets but can be purchased individually. With silk drapes, and wooden clips, Play Stands have been used for many years by Waldorf® School and others as a foundation for inventive play and learning.

Two Play Stands do not need to be connect at the top of the arch, so they can be used fully independently to create a large interior play space. The arch is NOT designed to be hung on.

When ordering a set of two Play Stands you can mix or match the one and two shelf versions.

Accessories can be purchased with the Play stand or separately. Accessories can be purchased as a set of four or individually.

Materials and Finish

• CARB 2 compliant knotty pine construction with birch dowels.
• Available in unfished or clear/natural lacquer.
• All finishes are water-based paints and stains so that our furniture is non-toxic and safe for children. There may be an odor when first unpacked but will dissipate more rapidly with warmer temperatures and air movement.
• All products are made to order and typically take 3-5 business days to ship.
