  • We use the very best lid support available to ensure your toddler’s safety; the lid holds its position at any angle.
  • To ensure your child’s safety, the front panel includes a finger cutout, and handholds are cut into the sides.

  • All finishes are water-based paints and stains so that our furniture is non-toxic and safe for children. There may be an odor when first unpacked but will dissipate more rapidly with warmer temperatures and air movement.

  • All products are made to order and typically take 3-5 business days to ship.

  • What are the inside dimensions?

    The inside dimensions are approximately 28 1/4″ x 18″ x 17″.

  • How long does a box take to be made? It says 3-5 days to ship, but what’s the total time from order to delivery, since each is made to order?

    Total time to delivery depends on too many factors to provide a simple answer. Depends on personalization options, wood choice & shipping to: location.

  • Can this chest be used as a bench as well?

    It is safe to sit on the lid, as the box can support up to 300lbs when properly assembled.

    However, we would urge you to consider our Bench Toy Box which was designed for this purpose. It has a back support railing which enhances it’s safety features when sat upon.

  • Is formaldehyde used in the glue? I just got my chest and it has an extremely strong smell.

    No – all of our products are non-toxic and formaldehyde free.

  • Is there any way to get the classic toy box with a carved name in place of vinyl letters?

  • Are any of your toy boxes solid wood (not plywood or MDF)?

    This toy box is made of knotty pine except for the bottom panel is made of Birch.

  • Is it possible to get a custom stain color? A dark cherry stain.

    No sorry, we are not able to do custom finishing. The best thing to do would be to order it in Unfinished and then finish to your liking.
