Our Adirondack Chair has been a customer favorite for many years, so we thought it was about time to offer an alternative model that appeals to a more modern aesthetic. Our new Modern Adirondack Chair puts a new spin on both outdoor and indoor lounging. You don’t see kids sitting still often but when they do, they’ll sit in style and comfort.
It’s not just the modern style that differentiates this new chair, it’s assembled WITHOUT hardware, glue, or tools to put it together. There are seven parts that fit together and then lock in place with simple locking pieces at the back of each arm. Choose the interior option for the playroom or upgrade to exterior grade* to keep it in the backyard. There are two differences between our interior and exterior versions. Both use 18mm birch plywood. The interior version uses interior grade birch plywood and the same paints we use for our traditional Adirondack Chair. Exterior grade birch plywood uses a waterproof glue and we finish it with exterior deck stains. Whether it’s on the front porch greeting visitors or downstairs ready for movie night, your toddler is sure to love their new Modern Adirondack Chair.

Since we manufacture all Little Colorado products in our own facility, they start out as raw wood. We can offer every piece unfinished at lower prices if you would prefer to stain or paint it yourself.
